Funding

Because M.A. and Ph.D. students are treated identically in all academic respects, we are able to offer M.A. students funding packages that are equivalent to those that we offer to our Ph.D. students. This year, we expect to be able to offer M.A. funding packages of between $17,000 and $20,000 in addition to covering the cost of tuition. In addition, students with external scholarships (OGS, SSHRC, NSERC) will typically receive total financial aid packages that are substantially higher.
