Summer Paper Prize

During the summer term at the end of their second year in the program, PhD students must prepare a research paper (“the Summer Paper”). After the paper is completed, it is submitted to a committee consisting of the summer paper supervisor and at least one other faculty member selected in consultation with the Director of the Graduate Program. The committee may then nominate the paper for the prize. Winners are chosen by the Graduate Awards Committee.
