Fan and Traffic Area Shutdown

There will be a shutdown of supply air fan 102 & traffic area TA 406 on January 13th from 6:00 am – 4:00 pm. This will affect the heating/ventilation in all rooms served by fan 102. Supply air fan 102 will be left on all night to preheat the areas to minimize the effect during the daytime. Traffic area TA 406 will be closed by room 4071 to allow for an asbestos enclosure to be erected. This is required to allow access to the ceiling to repair a roof drain pipe that is leaking.

TM Brown Thesis Award

Canadian Economics Association (CEA) Annual Meeting - Call for Papers

The 43rd Annual Meeting of the CEA will be held at the University of Toronto, May 29-31, 2009. The Canadian Economics Association would like to invite anyone wishing to present a paper at the 2009 Annual Meeting to submit an abstract by Friday, February 20, 2009.

Economic Policies Research Unit of the University of Minho (NIPE) Workshop - Call for Papers

A workshop organized the Economic Policies Research of the University of Minho (NIPE), Economic Analysis Using Linked Employer and Employee Data will take place September 18, 2009 at Universidade do Minho, Braga, Portugal. The deadline for submission of papers is June 30, 2009.

European Spring Institute 2009

Prague's Centre for Public Policy announces the forthcoming European Spring Institute 2009 (ESI 2009) on the Future of Europe: Lobbying in Brussels that will take place March 28 - April 4, 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic. This seven-day academic program is designed to bring together 30 undergraduate and graduate students of various nationalities and academic backgrounds to deepen their knowledge of the current EU politics through exchange of ideas with academics, policy practitioners and fellow students from different cultural environments. The early bird application deadline is January 30, 2009 and the final deadline is February 15, 2009.

Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program - Summer Internship

The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program is an intensive ten-week paid summer internship program in public policy. Based in Washington, DC, this program is open to undergraduates, graduate students and recent graduates and offers placements in two public policy tracks. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2009.
