Statutory Holiday - Labour Day

The University will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2009 for Labour Day.

Department Meeting - Reminder

The first Department Meeting for the Academic Year 2009-2010 will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., in Room 4161. All faculty and staff are invited to attend. Please mark this date on your calendar.

Sabbatical Leave Application Forms - Reminder

The deadline for filing Sabbatical Application Forms in the Office of the Chair is Thursday, September 10, 2009.

Economics Annual Fall Party

The Economics Annual Fall Party will be held at the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Cocktails will begin at 5:00 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. Please drop off your advance payment in the Economics main office (SSC 4071) by Friday, September 11th.

All faculty, graduate students, staff and their families are welcome!

  • Faculty/Staff/Spouse $20 per person
  • Graduate Student/Spouse $10 per person
  • Children under 14 and new graduate students are not required to pay, however, please be sure to let us know if you plan to attend due to costs.

**All funding applications or proposals by UWO researchers must be accompanied by a completed Research Data and Approval Form (RDAF). Forms can be obtained and submitted using Research On-Line Approvals
