Stanford Institute for Theoretical Economics Summer 2010
Workshop - Call for Papers
Stanford Institute for Theoretical Economics (SITE) will hold their
annual
Summer 2010 Workshop June 28-30, 2010. Submissions from junior
faculty and scholars (defined as first or second year full-time
faculty) as well as postdoctoral scholars and advanced graduate
students will be given priority and but are also welcome from more
senior faculty. The deadline for applications for Segments 1-7 is
March 1, 2010 and for Segment 8 is
April 5, 2010.

Registration Open
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's fourth biennial
conference
Rethink,
Recover, Rebuild - Reinventing Older Communities will take
place May 12-14, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's
Landing, Philadelphia, PA. The conference brings together
policymakers, community developers, bankers, researchers, funders,
planners, and government representatives who are interested in the
challenges and opportunities for older cities and towns. The early-bird registration deadline
is April 9, 2010.
NIPE 7th Summer School
The NIPE (Economic Policies Research Unit) is pleased to announces
its 7th Summer School on
Regression Analysis with Discrete and Censored Dependent Variables,
that will take place at the University of Minho, School of Economics
and Management, Braga, Portugal, June 16-18, 2010. The purpose of the
course is to provide practitioners and academics with a comprehensive
coverage of statistical methods and their application in the
econometric analysis of cross-section data using Stata. The deadline
for applications is April 15, 2010.
