44th Annual Conference of the Canadian Economics Association (CEA) - Call for Papers

The 44th Annual Conference of the CEA will be held at the Petit Séminaire de Québec in Québec City, May 28-30, 2010 with some sessions of affiliated organizations on Thursday, May 27. The Canadian Economics Association would like to invite anyone wishing to present a paper at the 2010 Conference to submit an abstract (online) by Friday, February 19, 2010.

NBER 2010 Summer Institute - Call for Papers

The National Bureau of Economic Research invites interested economists to submit papers to its 31st Annual NBER Summer Institute. Workshops on a number of different topics will be held in Cambridge, MA from July 12 to August 5, 2010. Economists at the assistant professor level or above who are interested n participating in the 2010 Summer Institute should submit a CV and a one-page abstract of any paper they would like to present by January 29, 2010.

5th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications - Call for Papers and Participation

The Economics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold its 5th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications in Athens, Greece, 26-29 July 2010. Papers from all areas of Economics are welcome. The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 18, 2010.

Society for Computational Economics 16th International Conference - Call for Papers

The 16th Annual Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance (CEF2010) will take place at City University London, United Kingdom, July 15-18, 2010. The program will cover all areas dealing with the computational aspects of economics, finance, and decision making. The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 31, 2010.

RCEA Ceremony and Workshop - Call for Participants

The Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA) will hold a ceremony for the conferment of a Laurea ad Honorem in Economics and Market Policy to Professor Sir Partha S. Dasgupta at the University of Bologna on January 22, 2010. The title of the lecture is Nature and the Economy. A workshop in honour of Professor Sir Partha S. Dasgupta entitled Advanced Topics in Economics: Sustainable Development and the Natural Environment will follow at the Faculty of Economics, via Angherà, Rimini.

Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program - Summer Internship

The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program is an intensive ten-week paid summer internship program in public policy. Based in Washington, DC, this program is open to undergraduates, graduate students and recent graduates and offers placements in two public policy tracks. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2010.
