Year-End Expenses - Entertainment and Travel - Workshop
Year-end for the budget year 2009-2010 is April 30,
2010. Faculty with outstanding entertainment and travel expenses for workshop
visitors should forward all
receipts to Karin as soon as possible.
Internal Research Grants 2009-2010
All internal research operating grants (excluding startup research grants
and SSHRCC/NSERC funded grants) close on April
30, 2010 (end of the 2009-2010 operating year). Accounts that are overspent
must be reimbursed by cash (or cheque made payable to: The
University of Western Ontario) and deposited back into the account no
later than Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
Current balances of your accounts are available from Karin.
Message from Telecommunications - VoIP Deployment
The Social Science Centre is scheduled to receive Western’s new VoIP
technology starting Monday April 5, 2010
and continue through the entire month.
Phones will be deployed from the top floor down. The VoIP phone
requires network connectivity. Your computer will be routed through
your phone to the network. To prevent loss of data for any processes
which might be running on the network during the VoIP phone
installation, we will be placing these phones during business hours.
Once plugged into the network these phones self-register with a
dummy phone number and profile. Downloading of your profile (your
extension number) onto your new phone will also take place during
business hours minimizing any disruption of service (less than 10
minutes). While we are doing this, if someone does call your number,
they will immediately be directed to your voice mailbox where they
will be invited to leave a message.
