Summer Hours

The Department of Economics will be on summer hours as of Monday, May 3, 2010. Office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fan Shutdown

Fan 101 will be down all day on May 5th and 6th for repairs. There will be no air circulation.

Sabbatical Application Forms

Sabbatical Application Forms for leave starting on July 1, 2011 or on January 1, 2012 are now available for tenured faculty members and probationary faculty who are coming up for consideration for tenure effective July 1, 2011. The form can be printed or filled out online. The deadline for filing applications in the Office of the Chair is Monday, September 6, 2010.

Research Group on the Economics of Immigration Conference - Call for Papers

The Research Group on the Economics of Immigration at the University of Ottawa, in partnership with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, will hold a conference on the Economics of Immigration at the University of Ottawa, October 29-30, 2010. Graduate students are especially encouraged to submit papers. The submission deadline is July 15, 2010.
