Accommodation for Visiting International Faculty - Summer 2011

The Office of the VP (Research & International Relations) has secured a block of 8 rooms in the Elgin Hall B&B for the period May 7 to August 20, 2011 for visiting international faculty. The cost of these rooms will be covered entirely by the Office of the VP. Please contact Melissa Franco as soon as possible to reserve a room or rooms for visiting international faculty. 67th Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance

The 67th Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF) will be held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 8-11, 2011. The theme of the Congress is Rethinking the Role of the State: Responses to Recent Challenges, but papers on any topic within the filed of public economics and related disciplines will be considered. The deadline for submission of papers is February 11, 2011.

Society for Computational Economics 17th International Conference - Call for Papers

Sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the 17th Annual International Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance (CEF 2011) will take place at the Hilton Financial District in San Francisco, California, June 29 - July 1, 2011. The program will cover all areas dealing with the computational aspects of economics, finance, and decision making. The submission deadline is February 15, 2011.
