Western Summer Institute for Longitudinal Data Analysis - Announcement

The Statistics and Data Series at Western (a partnership with the Population and Life Course Studies (PLCS) Interdisciplinary Development Initiative and the Research Data Centre (RDC)) announces the Western Summer Institute for Longitudinal Data Analysis. Two workshops focused on topics in longitudinal data analysis, with a special emphasis on categorical data, will be held June 6-10, 2011. The lectures will be held in SSC 5220 and the labs in SSC 1032. The deadline for registration is April 30, 2011.

Business & Economics Society International 2011 Conference - Call for Participants

The Business & Economics Society International 2011 Conference will be held at the Le Meridien Lav Hotel, Split, Croatia, July 6-9, 2011. The conference welcomes academics (business/economics professors and administrators), as well as corporation/government executives and economists. The abstract/paper submission and registration deadline is March 15, 2011.

OEA/CABE Spring Policy Conference

The Ottawa Economics Association (OEA) and the Canadian Association for Business Economics (CABE) will sponsor the 2011 Spring Policy Conference: Policy-Making in a Messy World, March 29-30, 2011 at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, 1 Rideau St., Ottawa. The deadline for registration is March 23, 2011.

Second International Conference on the Constructed Environment - Call for Papers

The Second International Conference on the Constructed Environment will be held October 29-30, 2011 at the University Center, Chicago, USA. This cross-disciplinary conference is a forum to bring together researchers, teachers and practitioners to discuss the past character and future shape of the built environment. The deadline for submission of papers is March 24, 2011.

6th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications - 2nd Call for Papers

The Economics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold its 6th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications in Athens, Greece, July 25-28, 2011. Papers from all areas of Economics are welcome. The deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended to March 31, 2011.

Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA) Lecture in Economics and Finance - Invitation to attend and Call for Papers

The 2011 Rimini Lecture in Economics and Finance, Cyclical Macroeconomic Policy, Financial Constraints and Industry Growth, will take place at the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis, Rimini, Italy, on May 21, 2011.

Along with the public lecture, a Workshop on Advances in Business Cycles and Economic Growth Analysis will be held May 21-22, 2011 also at the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis, Rimini, Italy. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 2011.
