The European University Institute and the University of Florence
will host the 2011 (EC)2 Conference,
Econometrics for Policy Analysis: After the Crisis and Beyond,
December 15-17, 2011 in Florence, Italy. (EC)2 is a series
of annual international conferences on research in quantitative
economics and econometrics. Theoretical and applied contributions are
invited, particularly contributions focusing on econometric methods
and models that assist in the formulation, implementation and
evaluation of economic policy and performance during and after the
recent global financial crisis. The submission deadline is
September 25, 2011.
5th Annual Conference on the Political Economy of
International Organizations - Call for Papers
Submissions are invited for the
5th Annual Conference on the Political Economy of International
Organizations, to be held at Villanova University, Philadelphia, January 26-28, 2012. The conference brings
together economists, political scientists and other scholars to
address political-economy issues related to international
organizations such as the World Trade Organization, the United
Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the
European Union, and other international organizations. Both empirical
and theoretical papers will be considered. The submission deadline is
September 30, 2011.
