Fourth Meeting of the Society for the Study of Economic
Inequality (ECINEQ) - Call for Papers
The Fourth
Meeting of the Society for the Study of Economic Inequality (ECINEQ)
will be held at the University of Catalina, Italy, July 28-20, 2011.
The ECINEQ conference will provide a forum for analysis of inequality,
welfare and redistribution issues, at both the theoretical and the
empirical level, as well as for a discussion of the policy
implications of the research findings in this field. The deadline for
submission of papers is April 30, 2011.
Global Studies Conference - Call for Papers
The purpose of the Global Studies Conference is to serve as an open
forum for exploring globalization from many perspectives in a wide
variety of locations. This year's theme is
Latin America and Globalization: Emerging Societies and Emancipation.
The conference will be held July 18-20, 2011, at the JW Marriot, Rio
de Janeiro, Brazil. The deadline for submission of papers is
May 17, 2011.
Eighth International Conference on Environmental, Cultural,
Economic and Social Sustainability - Call for Papers
The
Eighth International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic
and Social Sustainability will be held January 10-12, 2012 at
Robson Square, the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. This
aim of this
multidisciplinary
conference is to develop a holistic view of sustainability in which
environmental, cultural and economic issues are inseparably
interlinked. The deadline for submission of papers is
May 19, 2011.
45th Annual Conference of the CEA - Preliminary Conference
Program
A preliminary program for the 45th Annual Conference of the CEA to
be held at the University of Ottawa June 3-5, 2011 is
now available.

RCEA Workshops in Canada - Call for Papers
Papers are invited for the following two workshops, sponsored by
Wilfrid Laurier University,
The Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis in Canada (RCEA-Canada)
and The Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA), Italy, to be held
in the Department of Economics, Ryerson University, Toronto.
Labour Markets and the
Macroeconomy will be held October 14-15, 2011. The one-page
abstract submission deadline is May 31, 2011.
Developments
in International Monetary and Financial Economics will be held
October 20-21, 2011. The one-page abstract submission deadline is
July 10, 2011.
Conference on Health, Aging, and Human Capital - Call for
Papers
The RAND Bing Center for Health Economics, RAND’s Labor and
Population Unit, and the Journal of Human Capital will host a
two-day conference on
Health, Aging, and Human Capital at the RAND Headquarters in Santa
Monica, CA, December 2-3, 2011. Theoretical and applied papers
addressing the topic of health and aging and/or the relation between
health and productivity over the life course and across generations
are invited. Participants are also invited to submit their papers for
possible publication in the Journal of Human Capital. The
deadline for submission of abstracts is June 15,
2011.
NBER Universities' Research Conference - Call for Papers
The National Bureau of Economic Research will hold a
Universities' Research
Conference on Insurance Markets and Catastrophe, May 11-12, 2012
in Cambridge, MA. Priority will be given to empirical research or
theoretical work with empirical applications. Submissions from
researchers early in their careers and from non-NBER affiliates is
also encouraged. The deadline for submissions is
October 1, 2011.
