Sabbatical Application Forms - Deadline Reminder

The deadline for filing Sabbatical Application Forms (printed / online) in the Office of the Chair is Tuesday, September 6, 2011.

D.B. Weldon Library - Policy for Assignment of Research/Study Space

The D.B. Weldon Library has a limited number of individual research/study spaces. These rooms provide locked, assigned space to those engaged in research and writing who require continuous access to a substantial number of The D.B. Weldon Library materials. The submission deadline for application forms is Friday, September 16, 2011 for allocation of space beginning Monday, October 3, 2011.

Munich Lectures in Economics - Distinguished CES Fellow 2011

This year the Center for Economic Studies (CES) will again honour an internationally respected economist as the Distinguished CES Fellow. The Munich Lectures in Economics will begin with this year's prize-winner, Sir Partha Dasgupta, Professor Emeritus of Economics, University of Cambridge, UK, at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Grosse Aula on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.

Dalhousie University - Call for Papers

The Schulich School of Law and Dalhousie University will host an interdisciplinary conference on income taxation, The Carter Commission 50 Years Later: A Time for Reflection and Reform, September 28-29, 2012, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The deadline for submission of proposals is January 15, 2012.
