International Faculty Forum - Invitation to Attend

All faculty (full and part time) are invited to attend the first International Faculty Forum on Tuesday, September 27, 3:00-4:30 pm in the Grad Club conference room. The purpose of the forum is for faculty colleagues with international interests and international experience to network, share ideas, get ideas, and build community in an informal setting. The International Faculty Forum will take place at the Grad Club on the last Tuesday of every month. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

2011 Ontario Tax Conference - Early Bird Registration Deadline

The Canadian Tax Foundation's 2011 Ontario Tax Conference will be held October 24-25, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel, 655 Dixon Road, Toronto. This is the definitive tax planning conference for advisers to owner-managed businesses. The early bird registration deadline is September 30, 2011.

Cycles, Adjustment, and Policy Research Unit (CAP) - Registration

The Cycles, Adjustment, and Policy Research Unit (CAP) at Aarhus University, Denmark, will host the Annual Workshop of the NBER Group on Micro and Macro Perspectives on the Aggregate Labor Market, November 4-5, 2011. The deadline for registration is October 10, 2011.

Royal Economic Society 2012 Annual Conference - Call for Papers

The Royal Economic Society 2012 Annual Conference will take place March 26-28, 2012 at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK. The Royal Economic Society, one of the oldest and most prestigious economic associations in the world, is a professional association promoting the encouragement of the study of economic science in academic life, government service, banking, industry and public affairs. Papers in any field of economics and econometrics are invited for submission. The deadline is October 15, 2011.

Transnational Corporations Review - Call for Papers

The Transnational Corporation Review is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to providing economic, business, policy, and business analysis topical issues related to transnational corporations, foreign direct investment, institutional innovation, and international commercial relations, and development. A proposed special issue, Emergence of China and India as Economic Superpowers: Opportunities to Canada, invites researchers and policy analysts in Canada, China and India to contribute to the understanding of opportunities and challenges of expanding trade, investment and innovation relations among the three countries. The submission deadline is October 31, 2011.
