Board of Governors and Senate - 2012 Nominations for Membership

Elections for membership on the Board of Governors and Senate will take place in February 2012.

Nominations for membership on the Board of Governors in the graduate and undergraduate student constituencies and on Senate in the faculty, administrative staff, graduate student and undergraduate student (academic) constituencies will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2012.

Teaching Support Centre

The Teaching Support Centre will present an intensive three-day Instructional Skills Workshop for Faculty (ISW), February 21-23, 2012, in the Teaching Support Centre, Room 122, The D.B. Weldon Library. Participants are required to attend the full three days. This program is open to all full and part-time faculty and is designed for both new and experienced faculty. Enrollment is limited.

Conference on Economic Growth and Development - Call for Papers

A conference on Economic Growth and Development will be held at the University of Toronto on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, 2012. Please send your submission electronically in pdf format to the organizers, Diego Restuccia or Xiaodong Zhu. The submission deadline is March 7, 2012.

Canadian Women Economists Network (CWEN) - Travel Grant Awards

CWEN/RFÉ Travel Grant Awards are available for CWEN/RFÉ members who are either graduate students or junior faculty and are presenting a research paper at a Canadian study group meeting or the Canadian Economics Association meetings. Applications along with a current CV are due by March 1, 2012.

Gender and Transitional Justice Conference

The Department of Women's Studies and Feminist Research and The Centre for Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction will hold a conference entitled, Gender and Transitional Justice, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Room UC 224, the University of Western Ontario. Please register in advance.
