Holiday Hours

The University will close for the holiday season at the end of normal business hours on December 21, 2012 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

NBER 2013 Summer Institute - Call for Papers

The National Bureau of Economic Research invites interested economists to submit papers to its 36th Annual NBER Summer Institute. Workshops on a number of different topics will be held in Cambridge, MA from July 8 to 26, 2013. Researchers who have completed their Ph.D.s, and who are interested in participating in the 2013 Summer Institute, should submit a paper (or a one-page abstract if the paper is not complete) no later than February 15, 2013.

Prague Summer Schools 2013 - 10th Anniversary

Organized by Prague's Centre for Public Policy, Prague Summer Schools 2013 will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, June 29 - July 6, 2013 and July 6 - 13, 2013. These week-long academic programs brings together undergraduate and graduate students of various nationalities and academic backgrounds from around the world. The early bird application deadline is April 30, 2013 and the final deadline is May 15, 2013.

CEPRA 2013 Visiting Fellows Program

The newly created Center for Economic and Political Research on Aging (CEPRA), established in the Institute of Economics at Universita della Svizzera Italiana, announces the opening of the 2013 Visiting Fellows Program. The Program is open to active researchers in all fields related to Aging, Fiscal Federalism, Political Economy and Economics of Pensions for a short period of one or two weeks. Interested scholars should apply by e-mail. There is no formal deadline, however, selection will start taking place in December 2012.
