Imagining Globality: China's Global Projects in Culture - Call for Papers

The China Institute at the University of Alberta will host an interdisciplinary conference, Imagining Globality: China's Global Projects in Culture, June 12-14, 2013. The purpose of the conference is to explore China's global projects and how these projects imagine a global world and China's place in it. The deadline for submission of proposals is January 31, 2013.

Upcoming Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA) Workshops - Call for Papers

• 4th RCEA Workshop in Macro-Growth (RCEA-MGR4): May 23-24, 2013. The submission deadline is April 8, 2013.
• 2nd RCEA Time Series Workshop (RCEA-TSW2): June 27-28, 2013. (Note: 7th Annual RCEA Bayesian Econometric Workshop (RCEA-BEW7): June 25-26, 2013). The submission deadline is May 6, 2013.

All workshops will take place at the University of Bologna, Rimini, Italy.

Brock University - Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

The Environmental Sustainability Research Centre and the Department of Economics, Brock University, as well as the newly established Water Economics, Policy and Governance Network, announce a postdoctoral fellowship opportunity, Canadian Water Economics Project. Applicants should have an expertise in environmental economics. This is a 18-month fellowship opportunity beginning March 1, 2013.
