Imagining Globality: China's Global Projects in Culture - Call for Papers

The China Institute at the University of Alberta will host an interdisciplinary conference, Imagining Globality: China's Global Projects in Culture, June 12-14, 2013. The purpose of the conference is to explore China's global projects and how these projects imagine a global world and China's place in it. The deadline for submission of proposals is January 31, 2013.

Social Science Research Network (SSRN) - New Innovation Research & Policy Network

Sponsored by ITX Corp., the Social Science Research Network is pleased to announce the creation of the Innovation Research & Policy Network (IRPN). The IRPN will provide a worldwide, online community for research in all areas of innovation and policy studies, following the model of other subject matter networks within SSRN.

Brock University - Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

The Environmental Sustainability Research Centre and the Department of Economics, Brock University, as well as the newly established Water Economics, Policy and Governance Network, announce a postdoctoral fellowship opportunity, Canadian Water Economics Project. Applicants should have an expertise in environmental economics. This is a 18-month fellowship opportunity beginning March 1, 2013.
