Professional Expense Reimbursement (PER) – Deadline March 26, 2012

The 2011 Professional Development Expense Reimbursement (PER) form is now available. The submission deadline for 2011 is March 31, 2012 (receipts for the 2011 allocation year may be dated up to March 31, 2012). If you have any questions, please contact Karin.

Please submit your PER form and original receipts (can be returned to you) to Karin by Monday, March 26th.

5th Annual Western Green Awards

Facilities Management (formerly Physical Plant & Capital Planning Services) seeks nominations for the 5th Annual Western Green Awards. The purpose of the award is to help raise awareness of sustainability through the acknowledgement of Western community members who have made positive contributions. The deadline for nominations is February 27, 2012.

2012 EEA-ESEM Joint Meeting - Call for Papers

The 27th Annual Congress of the European Economic Association (EEA) and the 66th European Meeting of the Econometric Society (ESEM) will take place in Malaga, Spain, August 27-31, 2012. Economists and professionals working in related fields are invited to submit theoretical and applied papers in all areas of economics for presentation. The submission deadline is February 15, 2012.

2012 ICPM - Call for Research Proposals

The International Centre for Pension Management (ICPM) has issued a Call for Research Proposals. Research proposals must have significant international interest/implications and cannot be too narrowly focussed. The intent to submit a research proposal deadline is 12 noon, Monday, February 20, 2012.

Minnesota Workshop in Macroeconomic Theory - Call for Papers

Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the University of Minnesota and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the Minnesota Workshop in Macroeconomic Theory is held annually at the University of Minnesota in late July/early August. The 2012 conference will run from Tuesday, July 24, 2012 through Friday, July 27, 2012. Papers in a variety of areas are welcomed. The submission deadline April 30, 2012.

Business & Economics Society International Conferences - Conference Call

The Business & Economics Society International Conferences will be held:

  • July 6-9, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Salzburg - The Pitter, Salzburg, Austria. Submission deadline March 15, 2012.
  • January 7-10, 2013 at the Westin Resort Denarau Island, Fiji Islands. Submission deadline September 30, 2012.

These conferences welcome academics (business/economics professors and administrators), as well as corporation / government executives and economists.
