Fan Shutdown

Fan 104 will be down from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm on Monday, March 12th due to renovations to the 4300 and 4400 block.

Office Doors – Deadbolts – Theft Prevention

For security and theft prevention, please remember to deadbolt your office doors when you leave for the day and weekend. It is also recommended that you close/lock your door when you leave your office even if only for a few minutes.

New Travel Policy (Per Diem, Private Accommodations, Mileage)

There are different rates for per diem, private accommodations and mileage depending on where you are travelling. If your work-related travels take you outside the province, please see Karin for details regarding other provinces, states or countries.

Canadian Employment Research Forum (CERF) Conference

A conference entitled, Celebration of Statistics Canada and Better Decision Making Through Data, will be held March 30-31, 2012 at The National Hotel, Ottawa, Ontario. This conference may be of interest to Canadian Labour Market and Skills Researcher Network (CLSRN) members. Participation is encouraged. Fees for all events, including the lunches and dinner have been waived. If you would like to attend, please rsvp by Sunday, March 11, 2012.

18th International Panel Data Conference - Call for Papers

The Banque de France will host the 18th International Panel Data Conference in Paris, France, July 5-6, 2012. The aim of the conference is to bring together economists, econometricians, statisticians and social scientists who are interested in or are working on panel data issues. The deadline for submission of papers is March 31, 2012.
