Western
Economics Alumni Conference in Honor of Yvonne Adams - Call for Papers
Western Economics will host a
Western Economics Alumni Conference in Honor of Yvonne Adams who
will retire in July 2012 after 40 years of service. The conference
will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2012 in the Faculty of
Social Science. All alumni are invited to submit a paper for
presentation at this conference. The deadline for submission of
abstracts is Monday, July 23, 2012.

The Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) invites

6th Annual International City-Break Conference: Business and
Society in a Global Economy, on December 17-20, 2012, Athens,
Greece. The deadline for submission of abstracts is
September 17, 2012.
Bank of Canada - Fellowship Program
The
purpose of the
Bank of Canada Fellowship Program
is to foster excellence in research and analysis, and to develop
partnerships with experts outside the Bank of Canada in areas
important to the Bank's mandate: macroeconomics, monetary economics,
international finance, financial markets and institutions, financial
stability and regulation, labour economics, and economic growth. There are two
awards available through the Fellowship Program:
