2012 Atlantic Canada Economic Association Meetings - First Call for Papers

The 2012 ACEA conference will take place October 19-20, 2012 at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The theme of this year’s conference is Human Resources and Regional Economic Development. The deadline for submission of abstracts and proposals is September 7, 2012. All participants must register for the conference.

International Scientific Workshop

Sponsored by the Italian National Research Institute on Food and Nutrition (INRAN) and hosted by the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Bologna, Italy, an International Scientific Workshop: Structural Equation Modeling and Latent Variable Models, will be held September 12-14, 2012. The aim of this workshop is to gather researchers in Statistics and related fields, to discuss methodologies and recent developments related to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Latent Variable Models (LVMs). Registration is free, but the number of participants accepted is limited, so please register by August 31, 2012.
