Canadian Journal of Economics Editor - Call for Nominations

The Canadian Economics Association seeks a new Canadian Journal of Economics Editor to succeed David Green. The Editor Search Committee, which is chaired by Dwayne Benjamin, welcomes suggestions regarding potential candidates. Please send them by October 10, 2012. Munich Lectures in Economics - Distinguished CES Fellow 2012

This year the Center for Economic Studies (CES) will again honour an internationally respected economist as the Distinguished CES Fellow. The Munich Lectures in Economics will begin with this year's prize-winner, Esther Duflo, Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics, MIT Department of Economics and Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Grosse Aula on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
