Tuesday Gathering

Weekly Tuesday afternoon coffee, tea and cookies returns on Tuesday, September 11th at 2:40 pm in the 3rd Floor Faculty Lounge.

Economics Fall Party

The Economics Fall Party will take place on Thursday, September 20th at the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate on Windermere Road, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is no admission nor coverage charge for attending this event. Beverages are complementary.

Dinner will again be catered by Betty Heydon of Blackfriar’s. The cost of dinner is outlined below and must be paid in advance. Please note that if you are a new faculty member or a new graduate student, there is no cost to you for the food. Simply follow the RSVP instructions below, so we can report to the caterer the number of guests to be served.

• Post-Doctoral Fellows/Visiting Doctoral Students ~ $0/person
• Graduate student/spouse ~ $10/person

Department of History - Invitation to Open House

The Department of History will hold an Open House in their "new" home in Room 2201 Lawson Hall on September 21, 2012 at 11:30 am. Light refreshments will be provided.

Royal Economic Society 2013 Annual Conference - Call for Papers

The 2013 Annual Conference of the Royal Economic Society will take place April 3-5, 2013 at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. The Royal Economic Society, one of the oldest and most prestigious economic associations in the world, is a professional association promoting the encouragement of the study of economic science. Papers in any field of economics and econometrics are invited for submission. The deadline is October 14, 2012.
