News and Announcements

Note from the Resource Centre - Western Libraries’ Catalogue and Online Journals

There have been some recurring problems with Western Libraries’ catalogue records for online journals. Sometimes the online holdings described on the catalogue page don’t reflect what is actually available, or sometimes what is described is accurate, but when you follow the catalogue’s link, the full range of downloadable journals is not there. Frequently it is the current and more recent issues which are missing. If this happens, click on “Link to Publisher’s Homepage”, and all the issues we are entitled to should be there. If you have problems with the Library’s catalogue, please let Jane or Jennifer know. We can help you and, if necessary, report errors to Weldon.
