Corporate Travel Card

The Corporate Travel Card is available for faculty members who are interested in separating their work/research-related expenses from their personal expenses. Benefits associated with this card are rental car insurance, flight delay and lost luggage insurance. This card will not affect an individual’s credit rating. If interested, please fill out the application and forward to Karin for Chair’s signature and processing.

Wolfson Economics Prize - Invitation to Apply

The Wolfson Economics Prize, made possible through support of the Charles Wolfson Charitable Trust, will be awarded to the person that a panel of judges determines best answers the question: "If member states leave the Economic and Monetary Union, what is the best way for the economic process to be managed to provide the soundest foundation for the future growth and prosperity of the current membership?" The submission deadline is January 31, 2012.

Rimini Conference in Economics and Finance (RCEF) Biennial Conference - Call for Papers

Sponsored by the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA), the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis in Canada and the Review of Economic Analysis, the RCEF biennial conference, Cities, Open Economies, and Public Policy, will be held August 16-18, 2012 at the University of Toronto. The deadline for submission of papers is March 13, 2012.

W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy - Call for Papers and Postodoctoral Fellowship

The W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy's Annual Conference on Political Economy will be held on September 28-29, 2012 at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. The deadline for draft paper submission is April 4, 2012.

The 68th Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF), Public Finance, Public Debt and Global Recovery, will be held in Dresden, Germany on August 16-19, 2012. Papers on any topic within the filed of public economics will be considered. The deadline for submission of papers is February 1, 2012.

CESifo Venice Summer Institute 2012 - Call for Papers

CESifo will host its thirteenth Venice Summer Institute at the Venice International University, San Servolo, Italy, on July 16-21, 2012. The Institute brings together international economists working on economic policy topics for workshops, panel meetings and discussions. The deadline for submission of papers is March 31, 2012.
