Annual Spring Departmental Meeting - Reminder

The Annual Spring Departmental Meeting will be held on Monday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m., in Room 4161 SSC. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Graduate Awards

Teaching Support Centre - Upcoming Events

An intensive three-day Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) will be offered by the Teaching Support Centre on May 1-3, 2012, in the Teaching Support Centre, Room 122, Weldon Library. Participants are required to attend the full three days. This program is restricted to full and part-time faculty. Register online.

A two-day workshop, Course Design & Renovation Workshop, will be held weekly every Monday and Wednesday, starting May 7 & 9, 2012, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., in the Teaching Support Centre, Room 121, Weldon Library. Enrollment is limited and is restricted to full and part-time faculty. Register online.

The Spring Perspectives on Teaching Conference, sponsored by the Teaching Support Centre, will take place on May 14, 2012, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Rooms SSC 2050 & 2036. Registration is free, but please register in advance online and indicate the session(s) you plan to attend.

Jointly hosted by the Teaching Support Centre and the Instructional Technology Resource Centre, the Summer Teaching with Technology Institute 2012, will be held 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., May 23 & 24, 2012, location TBA. This program is restricted to full and part-time faculty. Register online.

HEH Oxford Seminar on China's Economy 2012

The HEH Oxford Seminar on China's Economy 2012, is a seminar series open to undergraduate and graduate students of Economics and closely related studies at universities in and outside the UK, as well as invited economists who are interested in China's economy and its economic issues having global impact. The seminar will be held at St. Cross College, University of Oxford, Oxford, July 16-20, 2012 and December 10-14, 2012. Pre-registration deadlines are May 16, 2012 for the summer seminar and October 10, 2012 for the winter seminar.
