Card Access - Dean's Office Notice

The Social Science building card swipe entry/security system is in the process of being upgraded and is expected to be completed by the beginning of September. Check for HID iClass on the back bottom corner of your Western One photo ID card. If you do not have this on your card please go to Student Central room 1120 in the Western Student Services building (WSS) to obtain a new HID iCLASS Proximity Security card (you do not have to complete the form). The new card will be required to get after hours access to the building, to the computing labs and to any classroom or lab that has card swipe access control so it is very important that you get the new card as soon as possible.

Tunnel Closure

Part of the Western Road pedestrian tunnel will be closed on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, 12:00 am - 10:00 am for high voltage cable installation. A detour will be set up and access to the tunnel will be through use of existing stairs.

ATINER 8th Annual International Symposium - Call for Papers and Participation

The Economics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold the 8th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications in Athens, Greece on July 22-25, 2013. Papers from all areas of economics are welcome. The deadline for submission of abstracts is December 24, 2013.
