Undergraduate Professor of the Year Award
Based on the nominations received from students who are enrolled in
any Economics module, including Honors Specialization, Honors Specialization
in Global Economics, Honors Specialization in Economics, Politics, &
Philosophy, Economics Major, Financial Economics Major,
Specialization or Minor, Western

1st RCEA Workshop in Canada - Call for Papers
Sponsored by the Laurier Centre for Economic Research and Policy
Analysis (LCERA), the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis in Canada
(RCEA-Canada) and the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis (RCEA),
Italy, the first RCEA workshop in Canada,
Zero
Bound on the Interest Rates and New Direction in Monetary Policy,
will be held at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, on October 7-8,
2011. The deadline for submission of one-age abstracts is
May 31, 2011.
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Conference - Call for Papers
The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Department of Economics
at Boston University will hold the
2nd BU/Boston Fed Conference on Macro-Finance Linkages on October
28-29, 2011. The goal of the conference is to improve understanding of
the linkages between financial markets and the real economy in light
of the recent recession. The deadline for submission of papers is
June 30, 2011.
