Who's Doing What
John Whalley, 2012 Killiam Prize Winner, will take
part in the
2012 Killam Symposium from Rideau Hall hosted by the CBC Radio
One show IDEAS on November 30th at 9:00 p.m. The five 2012 Killam
Prize Winners will be brought together with the Governor General to
discuss the idea of discovery and answer questions such as "Is it an
art or a science?", "Can anyone do it?", "And who owns what's
discovered?" as well as personal stories about their own research.
Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) -
Conference and Dinner Announcement
The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research announces the
SIEPR Economics Summit: The Leading Issues of the Year
conference and dinner that will take place on March 15, 2013 at
Stanford University. Topics will include capital markets,
comprehensive tax reform, the future of Europe, market design,
health care, the global economy, and more.
